The "ilo" is an embroidered textile depicting birds and flowers playing together. The design conveys the joy of living and the delight of the changing seasons. The finely expressed embroidery is a special design that comes from the skill, sensibility, and years of experience of the craftsman. By carefully selecting and layering stitches and pursuing the expressions of birds and flowers, the embroidery is finished with a three-dimensional feel. The embroidery is applied to a fabric woven with wool yarn in a fine check pattern. Blue grey houndstooth with chartreuse/olive embroidery
