Tom Scott

Incorporating elements of garment, accessory, and interiors Tom Scott explores new ideas of construction working with clothing and design archetypes. The tension created by odd relationships and clashing ideas form the base of his collection.

Born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, his interest in textiles began by spending summers with his grandmother who was a lace maker. He studied textile design in Philadelphia and Scotland before moving to New York. He has consulted and worked for numerous companies on special projects and capsule collections, and is currently a professor in design at the Fashion Institute Of Technology.

The collection is designed in his studio in Brooklyn, and is manufactured in small factories in New York.
