This shantung material is woven in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, with cotton warp and silk and linen alternately woven weft. Shantung is usually made of 100% silk for dresses, but by using linen and other materials in a special design, it has a rough and glossy feel, and is an original ATON material that is characterized by its unique tension and creaking.
