Agriculture School Pants

Pants cut reflecting those worn by Japanese Agriculture school uniforms of the 1930s. Cut in a relaxed fit, features inside drawstring (size adjustment), side pistol pockets, diagonally sewn back darts, single back pocket with button down flap, reinforced double layer seat, vintage style metal Waldes brand fastener.

Cut in a Beaugan original fabric, which has been woven to reflect the original fabric which was woven from scratch with 4 separate coloured threads, this fabric resembling denim from first appearances, but revealing a more complicated structure and colouring from closer inspection. This was a gabardine that was used in Japanese workwear before the invention and importation of denim into Japan from the US.

This sample features heavily reconstructed/ torn and repaired damaging in from and back to reveal the horizontal yarns unique to this fabric. Also features slight tinting/fading in areas to express a worn in (pre-aged) feel.

Made in Wakayama Japan.
